Guide to simple Tea Ceremony

1. The wedding couple will have the sequence of tea ceremony ready, so you may just wait for your name to be called.

2. When being called, make sure you have your wedding gifts and blessing messages that you have prepared ready but please wait for the right time to present it to them.

3. Note that when facing the newlyweds, the male relative should be seated on the left and the female will be sitting on the right.

   • Do note that the seating may be specifically shifted for photographers to take photos to ensure both guests are seen, so please do not shift the chairs!

4. Once seated, don’t be nervous and remember to smile and greet the couple!

5. The couple will serve the tea to the male relative first - remember do not drink the tea straightaway and wait for your partner to receive it before drinking it together! [ It will look better on the photos! ]

6. After drinking, place the tea cup on the tray.

7. Now you may give your blessings to the couple and hand them the gifts you have prepared!

8. If the timing allows, and you want to take extra pictures with the couple, just let the photographer know!
